IRCC repeated the largest Express Entry draw

On October 14, 2020, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) repeated the largest all-programs draw in the Express Entry for the second time. In round #165, Canada invited 4,500 applicants to apply for permanent residence. The previous largest draw occurred on February 19, 2020, before the pandemic hit the immigration system. The lowest CRS score in round #165 did not change and was 471 points. The tie-breaking rule for this round was September 1, 2020, at 12:11:23 UTC. As of October 12, 2020, there are 144,338 profiles submitted to Express Entry, an increase of 464 profiles compared to the last update. IRCC will definitely beat a record of invitations in the Express Entry in 2020. In total, Canada invited 82,850 candidates in 32 invitation rounds this year.
